Open matches
We run open matches every Wednesday and Saturday and alternate the pool used every week. We are also considering Sunday Opens and we occasionally host ‘specials’ such as Open pairs or Teams matches.

Wednesday ‘Affordable’ Open Match
£10.20 all in (including £4.20 peg fee)
Weekend Open Match
£15.20 all in (including £6.20 peg fee)
Feed pellets just £1 per pint
9am draw, fish 10am to 3pm
All nets supplied on the day, no anglers nets allowed.
All fishery rules apply

Club Match Bookings
We play host to many club matches throughout the year, the Café opens at 7.30am – 5pm on a Saturday and Sunday (8am Monday to Friday) so you can get that all important breakfast in before you start your match, you can even arrange for your carvery to be put up for you for when your match finishes.

It may be possible to book the above pools by the peg. If purchased by the peg then every peg in a row must be used and it maybe that other anglers will also fish on the spare pegs.
LI – one side contains 20 pegs and another 19, this pool may be split into two. Max number to book by the peg 24.
Oak and Laurel – for a really good match you would want to spread around these pools, if you are booking less than 6 you may book by the peg.
Wyatts – each side contains 15 pegs, if you are booking more than 20 then the whole pool must be booked.
Ryans – this is one of the old Victorian pools. There is a central causeway and fishing will be from this.
Pips Willow and Jades Island maybe booked for matches, these are old Victorian pools and bag weights will not be as the match pools but a good day maybe had. Please contact us if you wish to book these pools.
Midweek matches can take advantage of the Breakfast and fishing offer (not the Monday offer), this will be by prior arrangement.
