On Thursday the 17th of March at 11am, Will Stephenson, Luge British Champion, made a surprise visit to Cob House.

Mr Stephenson, who appeared on this weeks’ The Gadget Show, spent time with students from Tudor Grange Academy, providing an educational session on the unusual, physically demanding sport, Luge.

The lucky students had a go on Will’s Luge Board and were fascinated by his exciting stories of the world wide competitions he’s taken part in.

We were delighted that Mr Stephenson could spare the time from his busy schedule to pop in and see us! He engaged with the students, giving information on this fantastic sport, one that is rapidly growing in popularity!
commented Helen Taylor, owner of Cob House.

We teach children many different topics, such as angling and the environment, entomology, fish farming and various other outdoor activities. To have Will come down and share his experiences with the students was fabulous.

Cob House currently helps educate over 60 children per week with their outdoor activities, supporting the surrounding Worcestershire schools.
