We have a variety of walks starting and finishing here at Cob House Country Park and welcome walking groups.
Walking is a great way to improve your physical health, mental heath and general wellbeing.
Walking for Health group meets the LAST MONDAY of the month at 10.15am on the patio area outside of the Mayfly Cafe the walk starts at 10.30am until 11.30am. They will also offer 30-60 min walks and adjust according to the ability of the group. The bonus is, you will finish with a well earned coffee/tea at the café too!

Our walks that we have available are below for you to download or hard copies are available in reception. They range from 1 mile to 7.5 miles. Some are also dog friendly with no Stiles or at least a dog pass.

Walking groups receive a drink upgrade when booking for lunch too!
We would be extremely grateful if you would please remove muddy boots/shoes before entering the building, a spare pair in the car is a great idea – thanks for your help.

Cob House Dog Friendly Walk – Approx 3 miles – Country Lanes and fields with 1 dog pass
Cob House Pushchair Dog or Wet Weather Walk – Approx 5 miles – A Mixture of bridal path and country lanes
We do have a separate room available (when it is not booked) to use with your doggy when the weather is wet or cold. Please see a member of staff but access is gained from the outside of the building – Ideally you need two people, one to keep the doggy company whilst another grabs the drinks!
